appearance : A typical teenager, Chiiyo is blessed with a sweet countenance and the associated sweet smile always on her face. Being japanese, she has pale skin and sleek black hair, which she keeps slightly below her shoulder, but she is blessed with big eyes, and somewhat eurasian eyebrows. She possesses a pleasant face, not stunning, but attractive no less. Her small hands and small feet make her look dainty, especially when her height is quite tall, but her relative slimness helps to counteract the effect. She has sloping shoulders, long legs, and a small bustline. Chiiyo looks good in most things, but especially kimono. Despite her height, she is still one of the shortest in the family.

background : The second youngest in the Kannazuki family, she is the older half of a set of twins. Technically being the youngest siblings in the family and simultaneously acting as an older sister to Harumi, her twin, Chiiyo has a tendency to move from a cute kid who likes to be doted upon to one who takes care of others, and this has helped to shape her personality. Taking into account how the elder siblings in her family take such good care of their younger siblings, she lives a relatively protected and sheltered life with her twin, excelling in her schoolwork, intensely pursuing her hobbies, and almost thoroughly naive when it comes to love and hatred.

personality : Chiiyo is a bright and cheery girl, who believes in living for the moment, and yet in moderation at the same time. Though inherently conflicting issues, this is an example of how she thinks. Her life is governed by sets of opposite extreme ideas, but she always manages to settle the internal conflict and live life to her satisfaction. Chiiyo is naturally at ease with herself, possessing none of the teenage angst or insecurity that comes with her age. She likes to make friends, and is very sociable and easy to get along, but she also likes solitude, which is only natural as she is one half of a set of twins. She is a natural leader, but can easily move to a supporting role if she can see that someone else can do the job and benefit more than her in it. She is very close to her family, and shares a very close bond with her twin.

likes : Kimonos, having fun and just hanging with her family and friends, cute things, being hugged and doted upon, sincere compliments, most aspects of traditional japan, being herself.
dislikes : Quarrels or any other conflicts, hatred, people who are mean, hypocrites, anyone who says or does something bad to her family and friends.

chiiyo's comments :
In a way, Chiiyo is just myself simplified and inserted into stories. She is the most like me amongst all the other characters based on myself, like Shiyuri and Bliss, maybe because she is the most recent character created. I purposely made her a very shallow character, and avoided adding too much depth into her, unlike what I have done for my other characters, because I wanted to write her character into more light-hearted stories. Although it is always good to have interesting, multi-faceted characters, I've always felt that the extra depth in a character has always dragged me down in terms of my story-writing. Having a simple character makes writing simple, since I can literally twist her anyway I want. That, in a way, has been extremely liberating...
